The AC/DC gadget to add structured data on @WikiCommons got three new features today:

1) Integration with Cat-a-lot – if you use Cat-a-lot to select some files, and then open AC/DC, they’ll be in the file input. (You can still add more files there if you want.)

  • Category:Photographs of asexuality flags, with several of the photos (mostly from various pride parades) where the flag is more clearly visible selected in Cat-a-lot: their file names have a lime background.
  • The same page, but now the AC/DC gadget is open: its “files to edit” input is full with the selected file names (several of them from CSD Berlin 2021 by yours truly, Malmö Pride and Pride 2020 Paris are also represented by several photos), and the “statements to add” section already has a “depicts: asexual pride flag” statement selected.

3) Integration with user scripts – when the gadget finishes loading, it now fires the `gadget.acdc.loaded` hook. Niche feature, but might be useful 🤷

(Also, note for point 1: I can’t guarantee that this feature won’t break if the Cat-a-lot gadget changes.)
