today we're heading up the Mädelegabel before returning to the Waltenberger-Haus and then going down & home

the one ca. in the middle of the picture (not the bigger one to the right) should be the Hohes Licht from yesterday

  • the top of a large wooden cross inscribed "Im Kreuz ist Heil" (I'd loosely translate that as "find salvation in the cross", not sure)

oh, and I had my first fall earlier, while descending over a patch of stones and gravel – fortunately managed to roll over fairly well and only got a few small scratches and bruises (and no visible damage to the phone xD)

we're returning by car instead of train, which turned out to be an opportunity to reaffirm that I can't look at my phone (long ago: book) uninterrupted for long stretches of time in a car without getting dizzy.
